Juliana's car was broken into right in front of our house. The thief stole her radio and left behind a Soy Jerky wrapper.

I really hate when that happens. Many times when one of our cars has been left unlocked, you find all the crap from the glove compartment all over the seat the next morning. One time I left Kelly's car unlocked in AlbQ when Stephen and I had been out getting something and her law files were all over the floor of the car in the morning. Right now, I get a choice between having my wierd old Mercedes lock correctly or get wierd sounds on the radio. With the radio working properly, I am open to the world at night. I think I'll put the fuse in tonight so the car will lock properly. Nothing like an unauthorized invasion of your personal space to make you feel kinda dirty, eh?
peace,
jim

Last year my mother, who as you know is good at giving weird gifts, gave me an assortment of car cleaning products for my birthday. They were contained in a kind of fanny pouch for the front seat. I put them in my car since I wanted to be a good daughter. That night the car was broken into (it was unlocked) and the pouch with its wipes and sprays was pretty much all the thieves took.

I thank them whenever I think about it.
