As Long As I Have You

It may rain and snow
Freezing winds may blow
I won’t feel it, I won’t know
As long as I have you

Let the rain clouds close
Let there be tornadoes
Ice caps may melt though once they froze
As long as I have you

Let buildings tumble
Cities crumble, be laid humble
Let the whole world crash
Turn to trash, smoke and ash

Let refugees
Wander through the seas
Stricken down by foul disease
As long as I have you

Let the lame, the blind
Get left far behind
It’s not fair, but I don’t mind
As long as I have you
