Apropos rejoicing, do you know the line in "Funky Chicken" where the singer (I think it's Rufus Thomas) exults, "I feel so unnecessary!" Great line - wonder about its provenance, and why it never caught on.
The arabic word for alchohol is 'mithil'. I do not yet know the word for 'kimono'.
