Entertainment Weekly reports that the Stooges have a new album due out next month. Rock Action and his brother Scott will be joining Ig; MIA are Dave (OD'd on alcohol) and James (he's gone straight.)
My daughter had told me about some action in Stooge-ville some time ago. I got her the huge historical double-album "A Million in Prizes" last year. A worthwhile addition to any collection that doesn't already contain the originals. Her favorite song is The Passenger, although she also enjoys the 1969 stuff for its' sheer abandon and, naturally, the music-falling-off-the-shelves intro to Lust For Life. Where did they get that lotion, anyway?
