Say, are you familiar with the recently deceased author Robert Coover? I just read a short book of his called "The Grand Hotels (of Joseph Cornell.)". It's very much like your Seven Rooms You Never Imagined piece of many years ago, where each brief chapter is a hotel-as-dreamscape. I'dd send you my copy but unfortunately I left it on the train.
