In 1976 I went to Arnold's in Cincinnati to see the Ramones, but got turned away because I was only 16 and looked 12.In 1989, I saw the Ramones were playing at the Channel and didn't go to see them because they hadn't done anything interesting in ten years.I learned from Richard Hell's memoir that Marky Ramone is Mark Bell, the Voidoid's drummer.
Saw Joey hanging outside in front of a Talking Heads concert in 78. Wish I'd seen the Ramones instead.
