Thanks, given. I remember these days really well. It was a one or two holiday from the basement flat at St Stephens St. I think Jim you had gone to live in Providence (?) and came up to give us a road trip to picturesque New Hampshire. Must have been 1986 or so ... the summer of Live Aid, the rotten core of the 80s music scene (except perhaps for Nick Lowe and His Cowboy Outfit that I caught around this time at the Paradise, I think). Wow, 1986 -- I can hardly believe I was alive and responsible for myself at that time. Soon after came the Swiss army, Zurich, and eventually Indi, Mira, and Jai. Incredible. Still working in my head on that boring song.
