I remember that there had been some scuttlebutt about Jay Ward having gone to Saint John's; it may have Burkhalter who pointed out that the relationship between Mister Peabody and Sherman is a classic tutor/student one. However this story seems to debunk that. Instead Bullwinkle's creators appear to have been from my current hometown of Berkeley, CA.
