Though I really don't much care for Julian Schnabel, I must give my highest recommendation to the recent "Berlin" movie.  It's the first album I ever bought, you know.  "Now you said that you loved us/ But you only made love to one of us..."

Everything in its place

I dreamed the other night that Johny, Juliana and I moved into a new apartment together. It had many extra bedrooms filled with beds. My room had at least four bunk beds, and another room had several twin beds. I felt very happy with the place, but Juliana was concerned that the blender was inconveniently located a long way from the butter. So she went to take a shower.

Today is the day

I about three hours I will take the girls to the airport and they will depart for LA, Auckland, and then Invercargill. Everyone is excited. I think that in December I will go from NY-Paris,Mumbai,Christchurch,SanFran,NY. Meet me in St. Louis?

There are crows everywhere this morning: on the telephone wires, in the trees, on the roof.   It might be that they were brought out by the bugs that were in turn brought out by 1/100th of an inch of rain we had yesterday (thus theoretically ending the draught), though Juliana thinks it's the acorns.  They're making quite a ruckus; Chaitzel is very interested.  "Youth is in danger, but not from the source you might suppose..."

I'm off to Wally Sound this morning to record some new Mad Maggies songs.  This album is to be pirate-themed.
